Our members at Comsolve Systems have been developing customised solutions to meet clients’ IT requirements for over 20 years. We can offer total IT support to smaller companies or work in collaboration with corporate services as required. 

Typically, we pioneer, develop and support departmental applications, which may subsequently expand for use throughout the company. A solution may use rapid application development tools for relational database management, data integration, reporting and communication tasks. Recent developments have primarily used vB2k and VBA with SQL, Access or dBase databases for this role although we also have extensive experience in other tools.

Most applications are client-server based designed for multi-use desktop access via local area networks run under Windows 2000 Server and Windows XP/2000/95/98. These applications may incorporate the use of laptop and handheld units, communicate with industrial or commercial subsystems and corporate databases and operate over wide area or internet links. 

Examples of services we provide includes: 

 Application software development
Bespoke or customised to meet your particular needs. Recently developed and supported applications – typically written in vB2k or VBA rapid application development tools for relational database management - include financial cost control, production tracking, data collection and certification, production forecasting, sales analysis, crop management purchase ordering, utility monitoring, meter invoicing and premises area management.

 Data access, conversion and integration
We can integrate data from your mainframes or other systems to work with your desktop applications or convert other data sources to meet your analysis and reporting objectives.  Typically this may include providing real time data links with production subsystems, specialist printer or logger, or conversion of corporate data files from traditional accounting system.

 Provision, installation and support of new and upgraded systems and networks
We can configure and install workstations, server hardware, networks cabling, system software and internet links to meet your specific needs and provide that vital subsequent user and system support.

 IT planning
We can help with your IT planning, definition, specification, implementation and support. We can help you define your real needs – rather than those which suppliers hope to sell you.

 Application definition, analysis and specification
We can explore your overall needs, help liaise or even arbitrate between different interested parties within your organisation and define a scheme to meet your overall aims. Often having an independent view can provide a degree of clarity that may be difficult for individual users to achieve – as they may be too close to a particular aspect.

 User, system and network support
This may include maintaining installations, resolving user problems or simply administering user access and configuration options.
