DECs

All mid and larger sized public buildings had to have a Display Energy Certificates (DECs) in October 2008 which detail how energy efficient the building is.  These need a simple annual update.   However, a number of organisations particularly in the NHS opted for limited transitional arrangements in 2008 - and thus they now need to undertake the full exercise.

We are accredited under the scheme to carry out this work - with specialist experience for organisations with multiple buildings such as the PCT and Mental Health Trusts.

The initial full DEC needs to be accompanied by an Advisory Report ("AR") which outlines recommendation to reduce carbon emissions for the building. 

As part of our commitment to providing a complete service we will go beyond the minimum statutory requirements and provide specific recommendations and framed reports ready for display.

Annually only the DEC energy data requires to be uopdated and registered and reisued at a much reduced cost.  We wil also be pleased to undertake this for you.
