Water consumption is often overlooked but offers great potential to save costs and carbon emissions - a water consumption reduction has a double effect as it saves on the waste water (sewerage) costs and typically some 3 kg of carbon dioxide emission per cubic meter water reduction.   In addition, there are less commonly appreciated rules about VAT and water loss rebases.  All of which can translate to significant saving opportunities reduce costs and carbon emission.

Water reduction may be achieved through better controls, improved plant and user awareness.  However, particularly for older multi-building sites water loss can be dominant which if long term can go unnoticed unless properly analysed.

We can analyse your water usage and charges, move you to the correct VAT and water loss allowances.  We can also identify areas of abnormal usage, undertake investigate and site survey, evaluate options and manage corrective action.

On a parallel path, we can look at how you are using water and work with you to introduce new controls, plant and technology to reduce usage and even possibly grey water recycling.
